St. Andrew’s an active place. We don’t let the grass grow under our feet, as they say. Been itching for involvement in the Kingdom of God? Consider these!
Care & Concern Committee
This exciting group is now in its thirteenth year of service, and makes over 1,800 pastoral contacts per year––calling, visiting, and sending cards––with a special focus on shut-ins and people who are hospitalized long-term. The Committee meets twice a month (Wednesday mornings @ 11:00 a.m.) for in-service training, reporting, prayer, and mutual encouragement.
Mission and Outreach Committee
Mission and Outreach takes a leading role in all aspects of reaching out into the community, the very heart of our work as a church. The Committee welcomes any and all creativity, even the most daring. Meetings at need.
The Fellowship Committee is the dedicated workhorse behind the fabulous roster of luncheons and dinners that have made St. Andrew’s a vibrant, fun, welcoming community. Moreover, the fun this committee has at its work is legendary.
The Ladies’ Guild caters to luncheons, dinners, and receptions, and is constantly on the lookout for ways to support the church. In addition, two exciting Teas crown the Church year (the Daffodil Tea in March and the Holly Tea in November). The Ladies’ Guild meets the last Wednesday of every month.
Walk to Bethlehem Committee
The Walk to Bethlehem Committee is responsible for St. Andrew’s newest and most exciting ministry. Meetings for the new Bethlehem year begin in March. Up to 75 people are needed for this work. Join us in this cutting-edge ministry!
